|1-GALATA TOWERThis authentic tower, built by the Genoese in 1348 is 62 meters high. From the top, there is a wonderful view of the Golden Horn the Bosphorus.2-DOLMABAHÇE PALACE
Built in the mid 19th century by Sultan Abdülmecid,it has an impressive 600 meter frontage on the Bosphorus. The most important part is the vast reception salon, with 56 columns and a huge 750 bulb crystal chandelier weighing 4.5 tons.
Ortaköy Mosque is situated at waterside of the Ortaköy pier square, one of the most beautiful locations on the Bosphorus. Built by Sultan Abdülmecid in 1854, its architect was Nikogos Balyan who designed it in neo-Baroque style.
4-THE BOSPHORUS BRIDGE
The Bosphorus Bridge is considered as the Strait’s pearl for its delicate architecture. Embracing the Asian and European continents,the Bosphorus Bridge occupies a very remarkable place in Turkey’s transportation network as it links the main arteries of İstanbul.
On the Asian side of the Bosphorus, this palace was built of White marble by Sultan Abdülaziz in the 19th century. It has a beautiful garden with magnolia trees and was used as a summer residence of the sultans and as a guest house for visiting foreign dignitaries.
6-GÖKSU PAVILION (KÜÇÜKSU)
It takes its name from the streams nearby that empty into the Bosphorus Built by Abdülmecid in the middle of the 19th century. It was used as a summer residence.
Next to the Black Sea end of Bosphorus, bearing magnificent scenery just like Anadou Kavağı. It is a unique spot where you can find numerous fish restaurants side by side.
Getting there by a boat journey of 1,5 hour crisscrossing through the Bosphorus, Anadolu Kavağı looks rather cute and peaceful with its two storey houses and a square houses and a square covered with cobblestone pavaments where you can finf fish restaurants one after another. From Yoros Castle belonging to Roman period, you can watch Bosphorus with a bird’s eye view.
